If you are serious (and not just makin' jokes on here) about broadening your horizons, I suggest the Visionary Art Museum, going to see some live theatre, and if you had posted earlier...I would have recommended Santarchy. :-)

Want to meet some fun peeps? Go to the Santa/Elf Hat Happy Hour this Thurs from 6-9 pm in Hamden. After we have a few, we are going to walk up the famed 34th street with "the santa" to see the lights and say hi to folks.

Red Emma's, 800 St. Paul Street, generally a good place to go to find awesome people and hear about awesome events. Every time I'm in the shop I end up having some sort of great conversation with a total stranger. Also, the coffee and bagels are delicious.
